Senior monk accused of encroaching on public land | Bangkok Post: news

The most senior monk in Nakhon Sawan province has been accused of encroaching on public land to build a Buddhist park. The two said the senior monk supervising the park project is Phrathep Pariyutimethi, the monastic chief of Nakhon Sawan. As a result, people living around Bung Boraphet Lake had been suffered flooding because water could not be drained into the Chao Phraya River. The rest was illegally reclaimed public land. Nathawut Nitiworayut, a special case investigator and acting chief of the DSI public service office, accepted the petition.
